With all three rows in use there is very little floor left behind the third one, and we hold this vehicle at two large cases rather than pretending otherwise. Six pilgrims each with a checked case is not this booking. Six pilgrims with hand baggage, moving between a hotel and the Haram or between Makkah and Madinah with cases sent separately, is exactly this booking.
What Hyundai publishes, and what it does not
Hyundai lists only the Staria panel van on its Saudi site, so the figures we quote come from its 2025 Staria brochure for the Gulf: 5,253 mm overall, a 3.5-litre V6 at 272 ps or a 2.2-litre diesel at 177 ps, and a Staria Premium offered as a seven- or nine-seater. Hyundai publishes no luggage volume for any passenger Staria in this region. The 4,935-litre figure that appears in the brochure belongs to the three-seat van with no rear seats fitted, and reusing it here would be dishonest.
Book it for the cabin, not the cases
This is the vehicle to ask for when the six seats and the comfort between them matter more than the boot: airport meet-and-greet with hand baggage, hotel movements around Makkah and Madinah, or a family group travelling light. When every pilgrim has a checked case, declare that at the search stage and the results will move you to a van with a proper luggage bay instead.
