Booking and Payment
Is my transfer confirmed as soon as I pay?
No. Payment secures your provisional request. Your booking is confirmed only after the Hajj Umrah Taxi team checks the journey and sends confirmation.
What happens after I submit a booking request?
Your request is reviewed by the Hajj Umrah Taxi team before it becomes a confirmed booking. You will receive confirmation once the journey and vehicle availability have been checked.
Can I change passenger or luggage numbers after I have paid?
Contact our support team as soon as possible with your booking reference and the updated numbers. Any change is subject to review and may affect the vehicle assigned to your journey.
What payment methods and currencies can I use?
Accepted payment methods and currencies are shown at checkout when you book. Check the options available on the payment page before confirming your journey.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
Refund and cancellation eligibility depends on the terms set out in our cancellation policy. Review the cancellation policy page on the website or contact support with your booking reference for guidance on your specific booking.
Will I get a receipt or invoice for my booking?
Yes, a receipt is provided as part of the booking process. Contact support with your booking reference if you need a copy or require it in a different format.
What should I do if something goes wrong with my booking?
Contact our support team with your booking reference and a description of the issue as soon as possible. This lets the team check your journey details and respond appropriately.
Airport Transfers
Can I enter my flight details?
Yes. Airport journeys collect the flight number, date and arrival or departure direction. Live flight tracking is not currently promised.
Where will I meet the driver at the airport?
The confirmed booking instructions will identify the meeting process. Airport rules and terminal arrangements can change, so follow the latest message attached to your booking.
If my flight is delayed, will the transfer adjust automatically?
Flight details submitted with the booking are used to plan the pickup, but automatic adjustment is not guaranteed for every delay. Check the confirmed booking instructions or ask the team directly about how delays are handled for your journey.
Is the pickup different for Jeddah airport compared with Madinah airport?
Yes. King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah have separate terminal layouts and pickup points, so the driver meeting process differs between the two. Your confirmed booking instructions will set out the arrangement for the specific airport you are using.
Do you offer a meet-and-greet or name-board service at the airport?
A driver meeting arrangement is set out in your confirmed booking instructions, which may include a name board depending on the airport and terminal. Confirm the exact meeting process with the team before you travel if this matters to you.
What happens if my flight is diverted to a different airport?
A diversion changes your arrival point, so the original pickup arrangement may no longer apply. Contact the team as soon as you know about a diversion so the journey can be reviewed and, where possible, rearranged.
Can I book my outbound and return airport transfers together?
Yes. Both journeys can be requested in one booking process, with separate flight and timing details for each leg. Each journey is still checked and confirmed individually by the team.
How do you handle luggage or large groups for airport pickups?
Search with your full passenger and luggage totals so the results show vehicles with suitable space. For larger groups or extra bags, tell the team in advance so the journey can be reviewed before confirmation.
How much does a Jeddah Airport to Makkah transfer cost?
Prices from 220 SAR for our smallest available vehicle class on this route. The exact price depends on vehicle size and any extras you need, and can shift with season and demand, so get a fixed quote for your travel dates rather than relying on this figure alone.
How much does a Madinah Airport transfer cost?
Prices from 100 SAR for our smallest available vehicle class between Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport and Madinah city. Get a fixed quote for your exact pickup and drop-off points, since price can vary with vehicle size and demand.
Family, Elderly and Group Travel
Can I book for my parents or another family member?
Yes. Use the traveller details required for the journey and keep the booking contact available for updates. Tell support about mobility or meeting-point needs.
How do I choose a vehicle for a family or group?
Search with the full passenger and luggage totals. Results show suitable capacity; the booking team still reviews the final journey before confirmation.
Can I request a wheelchair-friendly journey?
Tell us the chair type, whether the passenger can transfer to a seat and any assistance required. Suitable transport is subject to explicit booking confirmation.
Can I request a child seat or booster seat for a family booking?
Yes. Tell us the child's age or approximate size when you book so the right seat can be arranged, as availability and suitable seat types can vary. Confirm this request has been accepted before travel rather than assuming it is automatic.
How are larger groups of six or more passengers handled?
Depending on numbers and luggage, this is arranged either as one larger vehicle or as two or more vehicles travelling together. Give the booking team your full passenger and luggage count so they can recommend the right setup for your group.
Can extra time be built in for elderly or less mobile passengers to board?
Yes. Tell us about any mobility needs or expected extra boarding time when you book, so the driver and schedule can allow for it. This is treated the same way as other assistance requests and should be confirmed as part of your booking.
Is a single point of contact assigned for group bookings?
Group and family bookings can be coordinated through one named contact person, which we recommend so instructions, timings and any changes only need to be communicated once. Let the booking team know if you would like this arrangement.
Do pushchairs or prams count against the luggage allowance?
A pushchair or pram typically needs to be counted alongside your other luggage when you search and book, since it takes up boot or vehicle space. Include it in your luggage total so the vehicle recommended actually has room for it.
Can a mixed group of elderly relatives and young children be planned together?
Yes. Tell us about the different needs in the group, such as mobility requirements, extra boarding time, or child seats, when you book so a single journey can be planned around everyone rather than treated as one generic booking.
How far in advance should a group or family booking be made?
As early as possible, since larger vehicles, multiple cars, or specific equipment like child seats need to be checked for availability and confirmed by the booking team before travel. Booking close to your travel date increases the risk that the exact setup you want is not confirmable in time.
Documents, Visas and Nusuk
Does Hajj Umrah Taxi arrange Hajj or Umrah visas?
No. We are a transport company providing airport and city transfers, not a visa agent. For visa applications, check nusuk.sa or haj.gov.sa.
What documents should I have ready for an airport pickup?
Bring your passport, booking confirmation and any travel documents relevant to your entry into Saudi Arabia. Keep these accessible so the driver can identify you at the agreed meeting point.
Do you need a copy of my passport or Umrah visa before travel?
Our booking process does not require you to submit passport or visa copies in advance. Provide the traveller and flight details requested at booking so your journey can be arranged correctly.
How can UK, EU or US pilgrims check current entry requirements before booking?
Entry requirements can change, so check the latest guidance on nusuk.sa, haj.gov.sa or gov.uk before you travel. Confirm your visa and documentation are in order before booking your transfer.
Do children need their own visa or Nusuk registration?
Requirements for children can vary and change, so this should be confirmed through official sources rather than assumed. Check nusuk.sa or haj.gov.sa for current rules on travelling with children.
Can you advise on Hajj or Umrah permits or Nusuk registration?
This falls outside our role as a transport provider. For questions about permits, Nusuk registration or entry requirements, refer to nusuk.sa, haj.gov.sa or gov.uk.
Makkah-Madinah Intercity Travel
Should I take a private taxi or the Haramain High Speed Railway between Makkah and Madinah?
A private taxi offers door-to-door pickup and flexible timing, while the Haramain railway runs between fixed stations on its own schedule. Which suits you depends on your luggage, group size, timing needs and how much flexibility you want, so weigh these factors against your itinerary.
Can I request stops along the route between Makkah and Madinah?
Yes, additional stops such as a rest break or a visit en route can be requested, but they should be agreed before booking so they are reflected in the journey plan. Waiting time and extra stops are among the factors that affect the final quote.
If I do a return trip in one day, will the vehicle wait for me at the other city?
Waiting arrangements for a same-day return are not fixed by default and need to be discussed and agreed with the team before booking. Explain your planned schedule so the journey can be arranged and confirmed accordingly.
How far in advance should I book intercity transport between Makkah and Madinah?
Booking as early as possible is recommended, particularly around busy periods, since journeys are reviewed and confirmed by the team rather than instantly guaranteed. Early booking also gives more time to sort out any special requirements before travel.
Will the same vehicle and driver take me all the way between Makkah and Madinah?
Intercity journeys are generally arranged as a single direct transfer with one vehicle for the route. Confirm this with the team if it is essential for your booking, as arrangements are subject to the confirmed journey details.
Is there enough space for luggage and Zamzam water on the Makkah-Madinah route?
Search with your accurate passenger and luggage totals, including any Zamzam water containers, so the results show a vehicle with suitable space. Mention large or bulky items to the team in advance so they can be accounted for before the journey is confirmed.
How much does a Makkah to Madinah taxi cost?
Prices from 550 SAR for our smallest available vehicle class. Larger vehicles, group bookings and peak periods such as Ramadan cost more, so get a fixed quote for the current price on your dates.
Ziyarah Transport
What does a Ziyarah taxi booking usually include?
A Ziyarah booking typically covers a private vehicle taking you to a series of religious and historical sites around Makkah or Madinah, with the driver waiting at each stop rather than dropping you and leaving. Exact stops and order are agreed with you or the booking team beforehand, since we cannot guarantee a fixed itinerary applies to every trip.
Why does waiting time at each stop affect the price and length of a Ziyarah trip?
The vehicle and driver are booked for the whole outing, so more stops and longer waiting time at each one add to the total time on hire, which feeds into the price. Requesting shorter waits at some sites and longer waits at others is fine, but it needs to be reflected in the quote rather than decided on the day.
Can I customise which sites are included in a Ziyarah trip?
Yes. Tell us which stops you want to include, skip, or prioritise when you enquire, and we will put together a route and quote around that. Changes requested after the vehicle has already been dispatched may not always be possible to accommodate on the spot.
Is a Ziyarah trip a fixed package price or charged by time?
Both approaches exist. Some Ziyarah bookings are quoted as a fixed package for an agreed set of stops, while others are priced around the vehicle being hired for a set duration or waiting arrangement. Which applies to your trip, and the actual figure, is confirmed when you request a quote rather than fixed in advance.
How long does a typical multi-stop Ziyarah trip take?
There is no single duration, because it depends on how many stops you choose, how long you want to spend at each one, and the distance between them. Discuss your preferred stops and pace with the booking team so they can give you a realistic timeframe alongside your quote.
Can I combine a Ziyarah trip with an airport transfer or hotel pickup?
Yes, this can often be arranged as part of the same booking, for example a Ziyarah outing on the way from the airport or built around your hotel stay. Mention this when enquiring so the timings and pickup points can be planned together rather than booked as separate, disconnected journeys.
Can a solo traveller book a Ziyarah trip, or is it only for groups?
Solo travellers can book a Ziyarah trip. Vehicle choice and price are based on your passenger numbers and chosen stops rather than a minimum group size, so a single traveller is treated the same way as a group when it comes to arranging the journey.
