Four pilgrims, two or three large cases
Economy cars for pilgrim transfers in Saudi Arabia
Four saloons and one crossover for pilgrims travelling in ones and twos, or a small family with modest luggage. Four seats in every one of them; the boot is what separates them.

Four seats each; the boot is the difference
Every car in this class seats four pilgrims and the driver is not one of them. The luggage is where they part company: Toyota publishes 470 litres for the Corolla boot, 463 in the hybrid, and GWM publishes 560 litres for the Haval H6 with its seats up. For the Yaris and the Camry, Toyota publishes no luggage volume at all in this market, so what we carry for those two is our own operated figure rather than a manufacturer one.
Two large cases, or three
The Corolla, the Camry and the Haval H6 take three large cases. The Yaris and the Sonata take two. That single case is usually the whole decision for a pilgrim travelling with a companion, because a checked case at the airline limit is a large object and a saloon boot fills on volume long before it fills on weight.
Four pilgrims with four cases is the wrong booking
A group of four arriving for Umrah with a checked case each will not fit an economy car, however many seats it has. Say so at the search stage and the results move you up a class rather than leaving you to find out at the kerb at Jeddah with the boot open.
Why a crossover sits in the economy class
The Haval H6 is a crossover rather than a saloon, and at 560 litres it has the largest boot in the class by a clear margin. It is priced here because it seats four like the rest; it is worth asking for when the cases are bulky rather than heavy.
