Browser storage and measurement choices
Cookie policy
What essential, preference, security and analytics technologies may do on this website and how visitors can control non-essential use.
What cookies and similar storage do
Cookies, local storage and session storage can remember a secure session, basket, currency, accessibility or notice choice and help measure website use. Some are set by us and some by services embedded in the site.
Strictly necessary technologies
These support login, security, fraud prevention, basket continuity, checkout, load balancing and the independent-agency notice. They are used only for the service requested or essential security and are not switched off by an analytics preference.
Our consent record
The consent control stores a first-party essential record of the optional categories selected, the policy version and the time saved. This prevents the question being repeated on every page and lets the site apply the same choice consistently. The record currently lasts up to 180 days unless cleared sooner, after which the website may ask again.
Preferences
A preference may remember currency, language, notification or interface choices so they do not need to be re-entered. Clearing browser storage can reset them.
Analytics and Site Kit
Google Site Kit connects this brand to its own Google Analytics property. Google consent signals default optional analytics and advertising storage to denied; the setting is updated only after the visitor makes a choice. Analytics reports help us understand visits and booking journeys, but they are not a substitute for a traveller's booking record and do not confirm a booking. Each brand keeps its measurement property separate.
Marketing storage
Marketing storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation remain denied unless the visitor selects the optional marketing category. Allowing this category does not itself subscribe a person to promotional email, WhatsApp or browser messages; those channels require their own recorded permission or other lawful basis.
Payments, maps and external content
Stripe, Google Maps or other necessary providers may use their own security or functional technologies when their features are requested. Links to external sites are governed by the external provider's policy.
Managing your choice
Use "Cookie settings" in the website footer at any time to accept, reject or change optional categories. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent ordinary search, account, basket or checkout functions. Browser controls can also delete or block storage, although blocking essential security or session technology can interrupt login or an unfinished checkout. Contact support@hajjumrahtaxi.co.uk if the control does not reflect your choice.

Questions and clear answers
Are all cookies used for advertising?
No. Many support essential login, security, basket and checkout functions. Non-essential measurement or marketing requires the applicable choice.
Does clearing cookies remove a booking?
It may clear a local basket or session, but a completed account booking is retained in the central booking record.
